Bio

Hello.

I do rock ‘n roll photography. Events are my forté. Portraits are not.
If you’re interested in booking me for an event, drop me an email at fiasco.photography@gmail.com
I’m pretty reasonably priced.

All of my photos are up on my FLICKR Page, (flickr.com/photos/spitfirehussy/sets) where they’ve been since 2005.

I probably have a picture of you.

If there’s one of you on my Flickr site that you don’t like, let me know. I don’t want pictures of you that you hate, so chances are good I’ll just go ahead and delete it if you don’t like it. If there’s one that you’d like to make a print of, please let me know which one. Not all of my images have been uploaded at high res, so you’ll probably want the bigger image. I will be happy to get it to you.

My pictures are absolutely free to take and print, with the following exception:

No commercial use. Sorry, but this includes ads and fliers in print and on the internet. Basically if you want to take them for anything other than personal use on your Facebook/Myspace/Whatever,  I’d appreciate you just letting me know. Chances are excellent I won’t care, but it’s kind of a jerk maneuver on principle to advertise your own business or projects without permission.
On a related note, you really ought not to redistribute these images unless YOU are the one in the picture you’re passing around. Common courtesy.

Flickr contains less than 15% of my total picture collection. If there’s something you’re looking for that isn’t up there for some reason, contact me and let me know. I’m pretty organized and should be able to find what you need fairly quickly.

This is a hobby. I take pictures. That’s it.
Do not confuse me with some kind of pretentious “photographer” who knows everything about picture-taking. That’s way too much pressure for me, and I’m not out to impress anyone with my credentials.
I just want to take a picture of you that you’ll like. Ok? I think I usually do alright with that.

Since I’ve been asked a few times what equipment I’m using, it is a Nikon D200, Nikon SB800 Speedlight, Nikor 18-200 VR lens and a Nikkor 50 mm lens.

That about covers it.
